Children's RE plan for October 17th
First of all, welcome!
For our Pre-K to Middle School students, October 17th will be a Special Sunday program--a belated Sukkot.
Sukkot is a Jewish holiday--a harvest festival which also remembers the long journey of Exodus. If you'd like to learn more, here are some good starting points:

As with last month's Peace Fair, children will rotate between activities. We're planning to make a simple sukkah, enjoy harvest treats, decorate gourds and make Sukkot necklaces. If the weather cooperates, we'll be outside in the garden area. If not, we'll be in Clara Barton Hall (the large area formerly known as the Phase II space.)
Hope everyone can make it--and yes, we can always use more folks for both set-up and helping the children!
